Yes, would definitely recommend this holiday. The barn was lovely and the original features were fabulous. Location was tranquil and the children loved the location of the farm particularly with the friendly horse and as it was lambing season, it was lovely to see the newborn lambs. They also loved splashing in the stream a little way up the lane. Would definitely consider visiting again providing the boiler was running efficiently! Mrs S, Birmingham, West Midlands 29 March 2011
A lovely property in beautiful countryside. Mrs W, Diss, Norfolk 14 October 2010
We had a fabulous holiday at Castell Barn. It is especially good for walkers as the walks and countryside is out of this world. It is a bit out of the way but as we were there for a special birthday, and there were eight of us in total, so we supplied our own entertainment, and found the whole experience totally relaxing and enjoyable. Mrs B, Bury, Lancashire 11 September 2010
Fabulous location and a beautiful cottage. Very relaxing holiday. Hope to visit again soon. Miss B, STOCKTON-ON-TEES 28 August 2010
We hired this cottage as a friends reunion and it was a perfect layout and location for our gathering. The cottage itself was beautiful, as were the surroundings. The welcome pack left for us by the owners was a lovely surprise, who, although we didn't have cause to see are evidently attentive to their guests needs. We had an excellent time and would definitely go back again, in fact one friend has already booked! Mrs B, Oldham, Lancashire 21 May 2010
Stay in a wonderful setting. Enjoy peace and quite, or take a hike across the hills and valleys. A great cosy home to relax and unwind. Mrs H, LITTLEHAMPTON, West Sussex 05 May 2010
This house is the perfect layout for a group gathering. Mrs B, Oldham, Lancashire 21 April 2010
The standard of the accommodation was second to none, excellent facilities and some breathtaking views. Miss S, ELLESMERE PORT, Cheshire 02 February 2010
Barn was excellent. Mrs S, WILLENHALL, West Midlands 06 January 2010
What a fantastic setting. Great for walking and the views over the hills are unbelievable. Mr S, Purley 05 January 2010
What a great cottage with wonderful views. Away from the hustle and bustle, and sitting by the fire reading a book was the favourite part of our holiday. The cottage photos don't do the property or the surroundings justice as the place has to be seen to be believed! There are loads of places to visit if you can tear yourself away from the log burner! The highest waterfall in the UK is a few minutes away and a warm welcome from the locals even nearer. We are just counting the days when we can stay there again!

Spacious accommodation, plenty of parking and a good location for walking, dogs welcome. Mrs G, SOLIHULL, West Midlands 01 December 2009
I would definitely recommend staying at Castell Barn it is simply amazing. The owner takes care and time to ensure you have a perfect stay, he event went out of his way to find out about local fireworks displays for us. The barn itself is great. We spent most of our stay working out how we could buy it! You will have a great holiday at this barn. Book it. Now! Mr D, CHESSINGTON, Surrey 25 November 2009
We had a wonderful weeks holiday in this superb converted barn. The accommodation was immaculate and beautifully decorated with every comfort provided to add to the enjoyment of our holiday. The kitchen and bathroom facilities were excellent and very well appointed, and a cosy stove in the lounge and very efficient central heating helped us enjoy a welcome October break. We were very lucky with the weather and were able to sit in the lovely garden with a glass of wine as we enjoyed the beautiful views down and across the valley. We appreciated the many books and CD's which contributed to a very relaxing holiday, and we enjoyed exploring the surrounding countryside, and especially enjoyed visiting Llanrhaeadr Waterfall within a few miles of the barn. We enjoyed scones and hot chocolate sitting outside the chalet restaurant overlooking the falls. We would definitely recommend Castell Barn as a 'must visit' holiday home.

We very much enjoyed our week here! R, LONDON, London 21 November 2009
A eally stunning barn conversion for peace and quite stunning views. A car is needed but the village has good pubs and shops. We could not fault the barn or the area and it was just nice to have peace and quiet. A must for all and we will be booking again! Mr C, Guildford, Surrey 03 November 2009
